Farm Place is Amber’s new residential centre that opened its doors in April 2010. Set in a superb parkland setting, Farm Place provides the space and facilities for young people to rebuild their lives away from the pressures of their previous environment.
Just a short distance from the railway station and local amenities, Farm Place will accommodate up to 28 young people. They will
work in teams under the guidance of Team Leaders and take part in community projects, personal leadership courses, personal fitness and outdoor activities. They will participate in art, drama, music, sport and many other simple enjoyable activities that fill their days and evenings with positive confidence building experiences.
“On behalf of the committee – please pass on our heartfelt thanks to those from Amber who helped so much with the preparation and clearing up of the Ocklympics. It was rock solid dependable support and deeply appreciated – and very much enjoyed by everyone as we made new friends who earned genuine respect. The weather during the preparation wasn’t the best! But your team gave us nothing but positive unwavering support. We are so glad you put in a team – we hope they all enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed their involvement.” - David, Chairman of the Ockley Society Committee
